Ethnohistory is branch of anthropology concerned with the study of human societies, the history, cultures, and their development, especially non-Western cultures. Ethnohistory also focuses on the history of ethnic groups that may exist or are extinct - no longer exist
Participants analyze, interpret, and seek to make evident the experiences, organizations, and identities of diasporic peoples. The activities involve and cross-cultural discussions using ethnohistorical materials from various disciplines of art history, geography, spirituality, religion, literature, archaeology, anthropology, music, literature, dance, and history, among others.
